Canyon Cottage

This characterful self-catering holiday home is one of the original ‘fisherman’s cottages’ built on Walkersons Private Estate. Canyon Cottage is hidden in the upper reaches of a beautiful gorge and set amid tall trees directly on the river. The perfect choice for a pleasant holiday in the countryside to spend quality time with family and friends.

The cottage accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms. The adjoining living area is comfortable and inviting, featuring an open-plan kitchen, dining room and lounge with 2 fireplaces leading onto a patio with free- standing braai and side deck, overhanging the water. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern luxuries one would come to expect for a pleasant stay.

Light the fireplaces for a cosy and warm atmosphere on those cold and misty evenings and let laughter fill the air as you enjoy quality time with family and friends in this peaceful and secluded cottage.

The Cottage features an outdoor boma firepit and wood-fired hot-tub for guests to enjoy whist creating memorable moments for life.

A private walkway through a mystical forest area leads to a beautiful picnic spot beside a waterfall. Unwind as you breathe in the fresh country air and allow the frequency of nature to captivate your senses.
